Scott KelleR | CEO
Scott graduated from Weber State University with degrees in both Computer Science and Business Management. He has been in the IT industry for over 20 years and spent the majority of that time working with a fortune 50 company where he managed a team of 30+ engineers, ASE's, and system architects. His superior management skills have helped him create an amazing network of talented engineers with a variety of skillsets. He is very proud to have some of the best working for him at 7 Oaks Group and spends the majority of his time still coding with these engineers. Scott and his wife Janina are empty nesters but love hanging out with their three children, two awesome dogs, and the world’s cutest grandchild.
Mandy Cosper | COO
Mandy graduated from Weber State University and worked for a large non-profit organization for 13 years before becoming a partner at 7 Oaks Group. She has a rich history of financial analytics as well as project management skills but finds the most joy in helping others. She is thankful for every single person who works at 7 Oaks Group and thinks they are the best part of this company. In her spare time she loves to hang out with her two kids, travel as much as possible, and watch the Pittsburgh Penguins win!
Kaleb scholes | CTO
Kaleb was born and raised in Rigby, Idaho. He attended BYU - Idaho, graduating with a Bachelors in Information Systems in 2008. He worked for the University for the next four years as an Application Analyst helping to lead the analysis and integration of a new student information system. Kaleb then joined Software Technology Group in Utah as a software engineering consultant working with the LDS church on several global scale applications. After five years, Kaleb left to join a Utah based start up as a Senior Engineer developing a highly available, distributed e-commerce platform. 7 Oaks is extremely lucky to have Kaleb as their CTO. Kaleb and his wife Brittaney have 4 cute kids.
DAvid Fritch | PRINCIPAL engineer
First and foremost, David is a lucky husband and proud father of 3 beautiful girls. He is a graduate of BYU with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. He enjoys tackling new problems and challenges each day, that comes with being a Software Engineer. He was our first official full-time employee and has been with us from the very beginning. His attention to detail and thoroughness is a great asset to 7 Oaks Group. When he is not working, David enjoys getting outdoors with his family. He tries to go on a campout once a month with his girls, and will take them on bike rides, or on walks around the park any chance he gets. He treasures any one-on-one time with his wife. With his personal time, he enjoys watching the Jazz, listening to audiobooks, and playing video games.
Randa Nunn | PRINCIPAL engineer
Randa grew up in Philomath, OR but has been living in Utah for most her adult life. She is incredibly smart and has been all around the technology world. She started her career in tech support - moved to QA - then automation - then moved into the development world and started coding. She is instrumental to keeping our devs in line by teaching them shortcuts and best practices on how to write better code. When she’s not coding like crazy, she loves boating and riding dirt bikes.
Scott humes | PRINCIPAL engineer
Scott graduated from Western Governors University with a degree in Computer Science. He has many years of experience in software engineering, from small tech startups to large e-commerce platforms. He has an intense drive to automate everything in life, from business issues to teeth brushing. He is an amazing problem solver who is always willing to help find better solutions. Scott has been known to ingest large amounts of caffeine and entertain others, but loves nothing more than being with his wife and 3 kids.
JESSE BENTON | Senior SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Jesse graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Computer Science. He worked for Choice Hotels Intl. for 5 years before coming to work at 7 Oaks Group. Jesse is a native of Gilbert, Arizona, where he lives with his English Bulldog, Maggie. He loves to explore the beauty the state has to offer on the weekends; during the week, you can find him on the pickle-ball court, practicing for his next tournament.
JESSICA BURNETT | SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Jessica grew up in South Carolina but obtained her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Southern Utah University. She has worked as a Software Engineer for about 7 years, and she couldn't imagine a better job. She and her husband have two delightful little boys and an adorable little girl; all whom she loves to pieces. During her spare time (if she has any between coding and chasing munchkins), she likes to spend time with her husband, read, and sleep.
JOSEPH CANTO | SOFTWARE ENGINEER
Joseph graduated from Brigham Young University–Idaho with a bachelor's degree in Web Design and Development before joining our team. He enjoys working as a full stack software engineer, and is dedicated to finding the perfect gifs to share on Slack. Him and his wife love being able to work together in their home office. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his family in beautiful southern Alaska.
JOHN BERNS | Software Engineer
John graduated from the University of Maryland (Go Terps!) with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, the same state where he grew up in. He worked for five years as a full stack Software Engineer in the Telecommunications and Government Contracting industries before making his way to 7 Oaks Groups. In his spare time, he enjoys being active, traveling, playing the guitar, and going to concerts.
JACEY SCHOW | Junior QA EnGIneer
Jacey graduated in Computer Science and Mathematics at Dixie State University. She grew up and has spent her life living all over Utah. She started coding in high school and decided that being in front of a computer screen was the life for her. She is getting her career started at 7 Oaks Group as a QA. She loves boating, hanging out at the beach, being around friends, family, and her dog Loki. Usually, you can find her adventuring and looking for Pokemon hoping to catch em all!
Eric Thomson | Junior Software EnGIneer
Eric Thomson grew up in Utah and now lives in Kentucky with his wonderful wife and daughter. He attended both Brigham Young University-Idaho and Utah Valley University where he graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. Eric is loves spending time with his family and their dog. In his spare time, he also enjoys 3D printing, flying drones, and grilling outdoors.
